2012
Evergreen Summer Doubles

The 2012 Evergreen Summer Doubles took place 2012.07.17 – 2012.07.22.

In lieu of a Summer Solstice party, the Evergreen Squash Club celebrates summer with a doubles tournament. This annual event is a mainstay of the Greater Vancouver doubles community. It is an opportunity to celebrate the easy living of summer, and a chance to assess one's waning skills.

This year's event will be held Tuesday, 2012.07.17 to Sunday, 2012.07.22, 2012. With a number of venues used for the matches.

Thanks to a number of volunteers, and Don Smerch, there are always enough snacks to keep the competitors, and guests, from completely starving while catching the matches. The Saturday night party, to which those attending contribute, is traditionally hosted in the home of one of our generous members.

With the summer looming large, with the generosity of the sponsors and volunteers, and with the hearty competition, it is definitely an event to add to your calendar early in the year. You don't want to miss it.

Tournament chair is Mark Heaney.
