The 22nd Annual (mostalski1)
Evergreen International Tournament

Updates

Evergreen International Tournament Goes Inter-Galactic!

2012.02.14

The 21st (mostalski) International Tournament is shaping up to be the best ever with fourteen teams already registered — including one from Mars! Other newcomers include Peru (Maria will be leading the Salsa dancing afterwards to work off that great dinner!), Mexico (well it starts with an M anyway - they started out as Malaysia!), The Axes of Evil and Cougar Country — can't wait to see the team strip.er.uniform!

Sadly, we say farewell to Swenada (too old and decrepit) and The British Bulldogs — put down due to a broken collar bone (excuses, excuses Richard!).

So fellow club members, if you are not playing — you should be, but come on down anyway and join the fun — play starts at 6pm on Friday. There will be snacks and drinks available — see you there!

Lesser Awards & Joke Requirement

2012.01.28

Hola Everkeeners!

As excitement builds towards the most important tournament of the year —

The 21st
(blame the Polish Swim Team for the miss-count)
Annual Evergreen International Tournament

— we thought it appropriate to explain some of the lesser awards. But remember… It's all about the dinner!

Best Flag
We apologise for the bad taste of the Isle of Bad Manners' flag, but you will be pleased to know they did not win. That honour went to Double Dutch, who, despite their photographic competence, could not get up a digital version…perhaps this year?

Best Joke
With a New Twist — each team should bring at least two jokes, and we will ensure they get time to tell them (Charles B please note).

This year there will be a special award as each team is requested to answer the following:

How many Polish Swim Team members does it take to organize an International Tournament?

Great Prize!

Least Sportspersonlike Award
While we hope our traditional winner is still capable of hitting his own ball, after witnessing certain lady members harassing the pros at the PSA Tournament we felt obliged to rename the Least Sportsmanlike Award. You really have to earn this one!

All members, all levels welcome! Come on out and play. If you can't raise a team register individually, and we'll fit you in — and remember — It's all about the dinner!!

Salut!

Notice of Intent

2012.01.18

Now that we have all that PSA nonsense out of the way it's time to plan for the best, the most incredible tournament of the year!

The 22nd Annual (mostalski1)
Evergreen International Tournament

February 17 & 18, 2012

Start planning now for a fun-filled two days with a couple of new "twists"!

Remember —
it's all about the Dinner!…
and the beer…
and the jokes…
and the costumes…
and the flags…
and the table tennis…
and the scheming…
and some competitive squash thrown in for good measure.

More details will be available soon from the IOC (International Organising Committee) — so, don't wait to be invited! — start recruiting your 4 person team2 today!

You've been warned,
IOC2
