2012
Evergreen Club Championships
The 2012 Evergreen Club Championships took place 2012.04.10 – 2012.04.28.
The Plan
“according to Rob”
The plan this year is to start doubles play on or about April 9th; with the idea of guaranteeing a minimum of 3 or 4 matches. We hope to have 98% of the non-final matches completed by Sunday the 22nd; with maybe one or two games during the following week, if there were any match conflicts. All doubles finals will be on Saturday the 28th along with the Dinner.
Singles play will start on the 23rd of April, with all singles finals on Saturday the 28th along with the Dinner.
This way members should get lots of doubles play — as was the case a few years ago. And there should be few, or no, conflicts for those also playing in the Singles event. Not to mention it will be much easier for the tournament committee to schedule the matches.
The Doubles portion ran from Tuesday, 2012.04.10 – Saturday, 2012.04.28. It is hoped 98% of the doubles matches will be completed by Sunday, 2012.04.22, so that there are few, or no, conflicts for those playing in the Singles event.
The Singles portion ran from Monday, 2012.04.23 – Saturday, 2012.04.28.
All finals were played on Saturday, 2012.04.28. The finals were followed by the Club Championships Dinner and Awards Spectacular.
Bob Withers Memorial Sportsmanship Award
The sixth annual Bob Withers Memorial Sportsmanship Award will be awarded at the Club Championships finale.
Nominations closed Saturday, 2012.04.21.

Entries
You may participate in up to two doubles events and one singles event, for a total of three events.
There is a full slate of events available in singles play.
For doubles, we currently anticipate a drop flight for the Men's event (probably 3 rounds). For the Women's and Mixed, we currently anticipate a main round and consolation round. That may change if either event has a significant turnout.
Please use our on-line form to submit your entry, to offer your help running the tournament, and/or to reserve your dinner tickets.
This year's entry fee is based on the number of events you enter:
1 event: $20
2 events: $25
3 events: $30
The entry fee for juniors is a flat $15 for up to 3 events.
Tim Martin, or the daily designate, will be happy to take payment (entry fee, and/or dinner tickets) at your earliest opportunity prior to, or during, the tournament.
Entry deadlines:
Doubles: Thursday, 2012.04.05 18:00
Singles: Thursday, 2012.04.19 18:00
