Helen Chow's Salad

This is the recipe everyone who attended the 2007 Evergreen Club Championships Gourmet Dinner and Awards Spectacular was after.

Salad Ingredients

Mixed greens, strawberries (or any other fruit), goat cheese, (also good with grated asiago), candied pecans. (roast pecans in oven for about 15 mins. mix nuts in maple syrup until coated then roast again for about 10 mins.)

Dressing

• 2 cups oil
• 1/4 cup dijon mustard
• 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
• 1/3 cup maple syrup

Blend all ingredients together.
