Evergreen Club Championships
The 2013 Evergreen Club Championships took place 2013.04.02 – 2013.04.13.
The Doubles portion ran from Tuesday, 2013.04.02 – Saturday, 2013.04.13.
The Singles portion ran from Monday, 2013.04.08 – Saturday, 2013.04.13.
All finals were played on Saturday, 2013.04.13. The finals were followed by the Club Championships Dinner and Awards Spectacular.
Bob Withers Memorial Sportsmanship Award
The seventh annual Bob Withers Memorial Sportsmanship Award will be awarded at the Club Championships finale.
Nominations closed Monday, 2013.04.08.
Volunteers Needed
As with any tournament volunteers are required to make it work and successful. Phil is in need of:
- Starting referring
- Bar staff
- Kitchen help
- Sponsorships
- Club dinner setup, cleanup, etc.
- General help

Dinner & Awards Ceremony
Deadline for ordering dinner tickets was
midnight, Friday, 2013.04.12.

Christine Catering, of Port Moody, will be preparing a succulent dining experience. So sign-up now and don't miss out!
Menu: Choice of quarter roasted chicken (boneless), flat iron steak, or vegetable wellington. Pomme dahphinoise, green beans & carrots, quinoa salad, green salad and bread & butter. Followed by something sweet!
Time: starting at 19:00.
Cost: $35 per person
(over and above tournament entry fee).
Tickets are limited, so order early to avoid disappointment.
Because of the delay in sorting out this year's dinner details, we ask that you request your tickets via our dinner specific on-line form.
Entries
You may participate in up to two doubles events and one singles event, for a total of three events.
There is a full slate of events available in singles play.
For doubles, we currently anticipate a drop flight for the Men's event (probably 3 rounds). For the Women's and Mixed, we currently anticipate a main round and consolation round. That may change if either event has a significant turnout.
Please use our on-line form to submit your entry, to offer your help running the tournament, and/or to reserve your dinner tickets.
This year's entry fee is based on the number of events you enter:
1 event: $20
2 events: $25
3 events: $30
The entry fee for juniors is a flat $15 for up to 3 events.
Phil Arthur or Cathy Covernton will be happy to take payment (entry fee, and/or dinner tickets) at your earliest opportunity prior to, or during, the tournament.
