| Mens Division 1 Ed Berwick helped Adam Radziminski overcome the “curse of organizing”, by winning the Division 1 over the Maddison brothers. However, this victory has more to do with the “sandbag last-minute fill-in factor” than the “curse”. The Curse cont'd Scott Sibley and Will Stiphout went 2 and out in the 50+, and Scott Sibley and Adam Radziminski went 2 and out in the Mens Open. [Editor’s note: this result probably has more to do with Don Smerch’s Grappa-soaked cherries, rather than any type of curse]. |

| Mens Division 2 If the drawmaster moves you down a division, the rule of thumb is not to complain, as you will look foolish if you end up losing in the lower division. Dave O’Brien and Dave Blore pushed the foolish factor to the limit, winning a tight 5 setter over Darren Farnworth and Rex Armstead in the Semis, and an even tighter 5 setter over Jorge Rabacal and Colin Caldwell in the Final. |
