Singles League

The League

Evergreen has a large number of teams in the Vancouver Squash League (VSL). The VSL runs from October through March, with Men's Divisions 1 - 7 playing on Monday nights, and Women's Divisions and Men's Division 8-9 playing on Tuesday night.

There are a maximum of 10 teams per division. Each team fields 5 players on game nights. But, with individual committments, teams required at least 7 full-time players and/or numerous spares to field the required number of players each week.

Each team plays every other team in their division twice (home and away) in each season - once in the first half, and again in the second half. The top four teams in each division have a playoff at the end of the season.

The top two teams (based on round-round results) move up a division the following season. The bottom two move down a division.
