Sunday Round Robin Scoring System
All players are given a Handicap based on the chart I sent over a couple of weeks ago.
(A players are ranked from around -20 to D players at about +9.)
They sign up on both the horizontal and corresponding vertical axis of the Scoring sheet, and in the Challenge section around the outside of the Scoring grid.
Two players next on the Challenge, cross their name out as they go on court (helping make it clear who's playing next), play one game to 21 (no tie-breakers), American rally/point scoring (without netting out the difference of their Handicaps).
Each player marks his score beside his name (horizontally), and under his opponent's (vertically).
At the end of the session, the Total Top Four scores are added up (horizontally), and then ranked against each other out of a possible 84 points.
Then, out of eleven players for example, the Handicaps are adjusted by minus 3 points at the top end (highest Total Top Four) to plus 3 as the lowest.
(Fewer players and/or the majority of players only get in three games: a Total Top Three tally, and a lesser adjustment at the extremes, out of a possible 63. When more than 13 players show, the points to play to can be adjusted to 15, and Handicaps adjusted to two-thirds their absolute value. E.G. plus 10 goes to plus 7, and minus 10 adjusts to minus 7, which makes for quicker games and less waiting between games.)
