In-house Yoga Coming to Evergreen

We are happy to announce that Trudy Austin, certified yoga instructor, has agreed to bring her expertise to our membership by way of one hour in-house sessions. Says Trudy:

I am certified with the Yoga Alliance of North America as a teacher of Hatha Yoga, and have been a practicioner of yoga for about 35 years. My classes are designed to help students stretch, strengthen and work on flexibility of the entire body. Some quiet moments are dedicated to focusing on the task at hand, so that the mind and body learn to function as one. I pay particular attention to the needs of each individual student, and respect the limitations they may bring to the yoga mat. Sports games such as squash benefit tremendously from regular yoga classes because the muscles become supple and strong and fewer injuries occur.

The target is for 2 or 3 one hour sessions per week with the schedule to be determined by the expression of interest by our members. The number of times per week, and amount of the nominal drop-in fee will depend on the level of participation. Please contact Scott Sibley at scott AT scottsibley DOT com to express interest, and suggest times and days that would be most convenient for you. Scott would like the responses by October 8th so the classes can commence just after the Thanksgiving weekend.
