One of our Junior members, Safiya Mawani, recently passed away from cancer and her family is undertaking to cycle from Vancouver to Seattle over two days, June 15-16, 2013, in her memory.
We are riding for Safiya who was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma on September 21st, 2012. Her sudden passing has left us all with a void in our lives. No family should ever go through such a tragic loss, so in Safiya's memory we are riding to beat cancer and find a cure.
If in keeping with your lifestyle choices,
you can donate via the

Riding for Safiya
page on the Ride to Conquer Cancer® web site.

To see improvement, it's recommended to have 2 workouts per week. The workouts will be for 1 hour and the cost will be $20 per person based on a class of 3 or 4. A session schedule will be set-up based on days and times that work for all involved.
If you are interested, please e-mail Cathy Covernton.
Tuesday, May 8 - Thursday, May 10, starting at 5:15pm or 6:00pm, and running 3 hours each night.
According to Shahier Razik's web site:
