In-house doubles — Notes & Admin
Couple of groups looking for a 4th. Contact group members if you are interested.
The para-olympics on there way. Crocus done blooming, and daffodils well on there way in most gardens. Even rhodos and cherry trees are in bloom across much of the Lower Mainland. So, if you plan on starting your spring garden cleaning, or, perhaps, getting away from all the wet and madness, please let Lynn Broman know if you wish your in-house doubles profile, or preferences, to be adjusted. Player preferences, as used for this week's schedule, are available on-line.
If any groups decide not to play, please notifiy Adam Radziminski, or Rob Forrest so that the court may be freed for web booking.
If you are unable to make your match, you are responsible for arranging a replacement. Lynn doesn't mind giving a hand in the search; but, it is your responsibility.
In-house doubles — Ladder
We are making progress recording inhouse, and other, matches on the on-line Evergreen Doubles Ladder. Lynn will continue to nag those of you who forget to record their scores. A few bumps as we progress towards having an active doubles ladder; but, worthwhile persisting as players get used to the process.
That said, if someone is helping out to fill out a foursome and winds up on an unfamiliar wall, let the others know that you do not wish the score to be reported.
In-house doubles — Want to join in?
Let Lynn Broman (Lynn Broman) know if you wish to be included. Please, specify wall, and preferred days (Monday, Tuesday, and/or Thursday).

Evergreen Doubles Ladder
Let our motto be ‟Play hard, Be fair, Be safe, Have fun. Care enough to record your score.”
We have fairly detailed information about getting a password for the club ladder on Quick-Draws, and, thereafter, recording scores available on-line.
VDSL & VLDSL
Evergreen VDSL have a full schedule this coming week, March 10, 2010.
The ladies' league play their last regular season matches this coming week, on March 11, 2010. Though there may be a few make-up matches left to play.
Quick-Draws and Rick Kochanski's unofficial doubles head-quarters have the latest on league scores and schedules.
Evergreen Squash Club — Fun Fast Fit
Extend your squash life!
An Evergreen Squash Club membership is one terrific value.
Been playing singles for a few years, and starting to feel a little slower, or not quite as youthful. Perhaps, not quite as fit as one once was. Then, I believe, doubles squash is what you are looking for.
Still fit enough to get on court, have good racquet skills, and able to anticipate your opponent's next shot, then you have what it takes to become a good doubles player. If you have always depended on your speed to compensate for your less than stellar skills, you should likely avoid the doubles court.
I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how much enjoyment you will get out of the game. Don't have a doubles court at your club? Join Evergreen, either as a full member (so you can keep playing singles), or as a "doubles only" member, and keep the membership at your current club.
Have questions or just want to get the ball rolling, use our on-line form.
