In-house doubles — Notes
Couple of time slots on Monday for booking.
The summer looks to be in full swing — at least weather-wise, and many are planning trips. So, if you plan on some fishing, getting away from it all, or, perhaps, heading to the Antarctic for a change of pace, please let Lynn Broman know if you wish your in-house doubles availability, profile, or preferences, to be adjusted. Player preferences, as used for this week's schedule, are available on-line.
If any groups decide not to play, please notifiy Rob Forrest, or Dana Merritt so that the court may be freed for web booking.
If you are unable to make your match, you are responsible for arranging a replacement. Lynn doesn't mind giving a hand in the search; but, it is your responsibility.
Annual Membership Renewals — Now Due
Please remember your annual club and Squash BC membership fees are now due.
Those who prepaid to avoid the initial year of HST, please be reminded that your annual Squash BC membership fee was not paid at that time.
If you plan on taking part in league play, doubles or singles, you must be an active Squash BC member.
In-house Doubles — Ladder
Lynn has begun using the Evergreen Doubles Ladder to give guidance in setting up the foursomes for in-house doubles.
Consequently, you are encouraged to record all your doubles activity on the club ladder. The more data, the more reliable the rankings.
In-house doubles — Want to join in?
Let Lynn Broman know if you wish to be included. Please, specify wall, and preferred days (Monday, Tuesday, and/or Thursday).
Doubles Tournaments — Coming Up
Nothing to mention at this time.
General Doubles — Notes
Vancouver Doubles Squash League
Season opens late September. Matches are Wednesdays 6 - 10pm.
Those who have already responded to a captain, or Tim Martin, you are done. If you wish to play but have not contacted Tim Martin, do so now. The club has submitted its application for the coming season.
Evergreen Doubles Ladder
We have fairly detailed information about getting a password for the club ladder on Quick-Draws, and, thereafter, recording scores available on-line.
