In-house doubles — Notes
Couple of matches looking for a 4th. Call those already scheduled if you wish to fill that spot.
Summer is over, and children & students are back in school. Those who have taken some time off to sail, golf, repair the body, etc, please let Lynn Broman know if you wish your profile to be adjusted. Player preferences, as used for this week's schedule, are available on-line.
Welcome back to inhouse . Karl Gustavson, Joe Tatham and Henry Tregillas. Also trying out inhouse are Dana Merritt, Michael Spearing, Oleh Ilnyckyj, Paul Chu, and Noel McDowell. Randy Winters and Rob Haliburton are not scheduled this week but looking to get some matches.
Be in touch with those in your foursome and avoid no shows.
If any groups decide not to play, please notifiy Rob Forrest, or Dana Merritt so that the court may be freed for web booking.
If you are unable to make your match, you are responsible for arranging a replacement. Lynn doesn't mind giving a hand in the search; but, it is your responsibility.

General Doubles — Notes
VDSL
Another season of Vancouver Doubles Squash League (Open) and VLDSL (Ladies) is about to begin. Open plays each Wednesday beginning September 30th. Ladies plays each Thursday beginning October 1st.
For the Open Doubles, Evergreen courts are used every Wednesday for the 6, 7, 8 and 9pm bookings. For the Ladies Doubles, Evergreen courts are used about half of the Thursdays and 6, 7, and 8pm bookings. The 9pm booking will be left open for web booking.
Inhouse doubles uses the 6, 7, 8, and 9 pm bookings every Monday and Tuesday; as well as, Thursdays which are not used by the Ladies Doubles League.
Ladies Doubles League will be using Evergreen's court Oct 1, Oct 8, Oct 22, Nov 12, Nov 26, and Dec 10.
Doubles with Viktor
Sessions with Viktor Berg continue Thursday, September 24, Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27. That ends the current group of lessons with Viktor. He promises to keep us informed about dates later in the season.

General Evergreen — Notes
Annual Open House
Evergreen's annual Open House is fast approaching. This year it will be held Saturday, October 3rd from 11:30am – 1:00pm.
This is your opportunity to meet other members, to introduce visitors, and potential members, to the club, and to show them the spirit we are known for throughout the Canadian squash community. Bring your gear, have a hit.
And, there will be a free BBQ to round-out a pleasant few hours.
